Shirt dress: vintage
Creepers: Koi Couture
Rings: Topshop, Spanish markets
I'm rapidly developing an infatuation for shirt dresses, as this is the second one I purchased within the space of a week. I find them very versatile, as you could wear them simply on their own, layered with a jumper over the top half, or tucked into a skirt or trousers. Although this particular one isn't perhaps the most flattering garment in existence, I could easily pair it with a belt and then I'm good to go. I specifically love the unique print that you get on vintage shirt dresses, as it's highly unlikely that anybody else owns a similar item of clothing.
I spent the entirety of yesterday antiquing at Bygone Times. My dad used to take me there as a child, however it'd been quite a long time since my previous visit. It's chock full of antique and vintage treasures; ranging from clothing to books to collectibles. As the place used to be a mill during the 16th century, it is suspected to be haunted by various ghosts, and they offer regular ghost walks which I think would be rather interesting. Whilst I was there, a middle-aged man in a military costume approached me and informed me that I looked "dead unique", which I struggled to decipher whether or not it was supposed to be a compliment. Hopefully it wasn't an attempt to imply that I looked peculiar...
Hugs and kisses, Sarah xo
