Top: vintage (Thriftette)
At long last I have returned to the blogosphere, as promised! My exams are finally over, which means I'll be getting back into the swing of things with regular posts, so watch this space!
This outfit is one that I've been wearing a lot lately, especially when I'm feeling indecisive about what to wear. I think tube skirts are a staple in anybody's wardrobe, because they can easily be thrown on with more or less any other garment, and still look as though you've made an effort as opposed to having crawled from your bed ten minutes before leaving the house, and thus having to get dressed in record time. I recently purchased this oversized tee from Thriftette for a mere £7 during the January sales. Thriftette is one of my favourite shops, and I always make sure that I pop in whenever I'm in Manchester. If the store isn't accessible to you, then I recommend you visit their website, where they sell both vintage and new clothing with a grungy-urban vibe. Speaking of awesome vintage clothing, I borrowed this vintage bomber jacket from my dad, and I love the slouchy, nonchalant feel to it. If you're looking for an androgynous vintage look, then I urge you to raid your dad's wardrobe- I bet it's jammed full of amazing treasures just waiting to be dusted off!
Hugs and kisses, Sarah xo
