Jacket: vintage c/o Brag Vintage
Skirt: American Apparel
This vintage Levis jacket from Brag Vintage is one of the most recent additions to my wardrobe. I'm a huge fan of the oversized look, especially when it comes to jackets, so this one is ideal in my eyes. With Autumn looming around the corner, I plan on wearing this jacket rather frequently and using it as a layering device to keep me nice and snug when venturing out into the cold. Denim jackets will never look outdated, and in my opinion are an essential for every single wardrobe. I particularly love vintage denim jackets because of their worn-in look which gives them a few quirks and a sort of uniqueness. As if this ever-growing list of reasons to love denim jackets wasn't long enough (how many times could I say "denim jackets" in one paragraph? Denim jackets denim jackets denim jackets), they can be thrown on with more or less any outfit and look amazing.
If you're looking for a denim jacket, or just have a penchant for vintage clothing, then I highly urge you to take a look at Brag Vintage. They have an incredibly vast selection of clothing on sale and for extremely reasonable prices too! As I mentioned in a previous post, I think it's very important that we try to support smaller independent businesses whenever we can, and with an increasingly large number of online vintage shops cropping up I imagine there's lots of competition. Brag's site is simple to navigate, split into two sections for men and women, and then numerous subsections for different categories of clothing. I selected this specific jacket from the men's section as I prefer a less fitted look; however they also had some very beautiful jackets in the women's section as well. Brag also have detailed descriptions of every single piece on their website and several clear photos of each item, in addition to incredibly swift delivery. There isn't a single aspect of their site that I can fault!
On another note, I seem to have done a lot since my previous post, including visiting Scotland, starting college, and getting my helix pierced (you may already know about my recent activities if you follow me on Instagram). Now that I've started college it means that I no longer have to sport a hideous school uniform, which will hopefully result in more blog posts! Oh, and keep your eyes peeled for a Scotland photo diary coming soon!
Hugs and kisses, Sarah xo
